September 25, 2022 - Fall Kick-off Event: Citi Bike Tour

We peddled into the fall season with our Citi Bike Tour. This was our first main fall event, and it was a hit. We partnered with Citi Bike to make this happen, for the 2nd year in a row. More tours, in more neighborhoods, will come in the future!  

On Saturday, September 25th, around 25 people attended the 2-hour event. Starting in Harlem and ending in Inwood, there were numerous sites to take in along the way. We rode through various NYC neighborhoods along the West Side Highway, following the Hudson River. Some well-known sites included The George Washington Bridge and The Little Red Lighthouse.

A beautiful day with sunny weather called for a beautiful ending. The tour ended at The Hudson at Dyckman Marina in Inwood. Here, riders, volunteers, and friends gathered to socialize and celebrate another successful event with Active Plus. 

Snacks, drinks, and a raffle giveaway allowed riders to decompress. The winner of the raffle was given an Active Plus T-Shirt to wear on their next ride. Active Plus Board Members, along with a representative from Citi Bike were in attendance. It was a joy to ride, sweat, and smile together.
