Ringing the NYSE Opening Bell

Ding-ding! Active Plus had the honor of being selected to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, August 12th, and it provided us an opportunity to celebrate and share our program on the world stage.

We brought together our partners from organizations like NYCHA and Hudson Link, along with youth from our summer programs, current volunteers, and alumni from past programs who are now taking on leadership roles such as coaching. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our mission with the world and showcase those who make up our backbone.

"Our teams are on the frontlines, working in underserved communities daily providing them with emergency programming such as mindfulness, active play, and healthy cooking."
