Importance of youth sleeping

In a recent study conducted by Stanford University School of Medicine, it was found that kids who lived in a low-income community slept an average of 74 extra minutes a night by practicing mindfulness training twice a week. The school-based health and mindfulness curriculum increased awareness of environmental stressors while also developing tools to reduce stress vulnerability

What does this mean?
This means that mindfulness training can empower children to recognize their own stress and give them the tools to manage it.

We at Active Plus strongly believe in empowering our youth with all the tools they need to lead a healthy life, so over the years, we have acquired mindfulness coaches to facilitate guided age-appropriate meditation sessions in-person and online.
